Telephone Features

For Departments using traditional phones, the Division of IT offers the choice of a single-line, business set, or caller ID telephone. A project to replace these traditional phones with VoIP technology is currently underway and expected to be completed within the next few years.

If you have a traditional telephone line installed, it will include the following standard group of features: call transfer, ring again, hold, call park, directed call pick-up, last number redial, call forward, and six-way conference. Additionally, the multi-line and single-line caller ID telephones have the caller ID feature on the line.

Fees

The prevailing labor rate (currently $63/hour) applies when establishing service or making changes to existing service, and is billed in 15-minute increments for the first hour and full-hour increments thereafter. If service changes are requested to be completed outside of normal business hours they will be billed at the overtime labor rate with a one-hour minimum.

Availability

If you require any chargeable feature changes to your telephone line, an authorized signer must submit a request via MyServices.
