You will also want to download the free GoMizzou app from Google Play or the App Store. It has the Summer Welcome schedule and maps to help you find your way around campus. It also helps you keep up with Mizzou news, get alerts, and find campus dining menus.
You may need to move your student email box to Mizzou if you took an AP course while in high school OR if you are transferring from or applied to another University of Missouri campus. DoIT staff will be at check-in on Day 1 for help transferring emails and also at tech stop on Day 2.
Let’s talk tech! Find us at the TigerTech booth and we can answer your technology questions.
To get your student ID made, go to the ID Office in the lower level of the Mizzou Store. You will need to bring a valid, U.S. government-issued photo ID (driver license, passport, state or military ID). Be ready to say, “Cheese!” when you have your photo taken.
Get your laptop and mobile devices “Mizzou-ready” at our Tech Stop in the MU Student Center. We will set up your device with all the technology resources you need. Walk in any time on Day 2 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. No appointment is necessary, but because the set-up takes about 20-40 minutes, you will want to work around your advising appointment that day. Students must be present for the entire session!
Tech Stop Checklist:
Confused about whether the device you have will work in the res hall? Check in at TigerTech to be sure. They can answer all your questions about specific devices. They also carry many of the devices that are known to work in the res halls, including switches and cables.
Fall Tech Stop
If you forget to bring your computer to Summer Welcome, we’ve got you covered! There will be a Fall Tech Stop where you can get your laptop set up.
