Laptop Checkout

Students can check out a laptop for a two-hour period at no charge with a Mizzou TigerCard. Checkout locations include Ellis Library, Health Sciences Library, Memorial Union (front desk), Student Center, W2001 Thomas and Nell Lafferre Hall (Engineering Library and Technology Commons). The laptop may only be used in the building from which it was checked out.

Students can check out a laptop for a two-hour period at no charge with a TigerCard.

The laptop may only be used in the building from which it was checked out. By swiping your Mizzou TigerCard, you agree to be bound by our Laptop Checkout Agreement. It states that any damage done to the laptop will be the responsibility of the person to whom the laptop is checked out.

Computing resources and facilities are for instructional and academic purposes.

There are no fees associated with this service.

  • MU
    • graduate students
    • undergraduate students

  • Present a Mizzou TigerCard. By swiping your card, you agree to be bound by our Laptop Checkout Agreement.
  • Return the laptop in the same condition as when you checked it out.
  • Not remove the laptop from the building.

Go to doitservices.missouri.edu and click on the Help icon. Login to the self-service portal with your University user id and password, and Search for Answers accordingly. For additional assistance, contact our Help Desk at 573-882-5000.

Laptop Computer Checkout Guidelines:

  • Do not leave a laptop unattended.
  • DO NOT eat, drink, or use anything MAGNETIC while using the laptop.
  • Return the laptop in the same condition as when you checked it out. You are liable for damages.
  • SAVE your information frequently in case the battery runs low. Monitor your battery life.
  • Delete any personal material before returning the laptop.
  • Please adhere to the UM Acceptable Use Policy and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
