Computing Sites

Computing Sites

There are more than 40 computing sites across campus with Internet access, MS Office, graphics, and statistical software. Sites are used for general drop-in/open-use for MU students, and scheduled MU classes. Site computers require logging on with an active UserID and password.

Site computer platforms include Macintosh, Windows, and Unix (Linux). Capacity in computing sites ranges from 20 to 40 workstations, and locations are distributed throughout the MU campus. In some locations, computing sites are equipped with specialized instructional technology equipment (Instructor workstation with projector and screen). Many sites are staffed with Student Consultants.

A variety of standard and specialty software is available for your use in the computing sites. View a complete listing of which software and hardware are offered in which sites.

The Adaptive Computing Technology (ACT) Center assists people with learning, visual and mobility impairments to access technology. Visit the ACT Center at N18 Memorial Union or call 573.884.2828 for a consultation.

There are no fees associated with this service.
