Print Smart is a print-accounting service that manages printing usage in the computing sites.
Print Smart for Students
Students can print to on-campus printers from computing site or personal computers using their Print Smart account. All students automatically get a Print Smart account with a quota. When printing, students just enter their PawPrint and myZou password to authorize a print job. A portion of the cost of student printing is funded through the Information Technology Fee (ITF).
Each student has a Print Smart quota. The cost of each print is deducted from that quota.
- Undergraduates receive a $35 nonrefundable quota for the academic year (fall and spring semesters).
- Graduate and professional students receive a $50 nonrefundable quota for the academic year.
- Students enrolled for a summer session receive an additional $7 non-refundable print quota.
Students can track their usage and remaining quota online. If a student uses up their Print Smart quota, the cost of each additional print is added to their monthly billing statement.
Print Smart for Faculty/Staff
For MU-related activities, faculty and staff (or students with departmental teaching/research appointments) can print to campus printers using a MoCode for payment.
Faculty and staff enter their PawPrint/MoCode for the user name. The password will be the same as their email password.
Departmental fiscal officers should use the Print Smart account manager to add an authorized user to a MoCode or obtain current usage for a Print Smart account. Please allow up to 24 hours for a PawPrint/MoCode to be enabled for printing.
For Print Smart printing issues please call 882-5000 within 72 hours to request a refund.
Requesting a refund does not guarantee that a credit will be issued. You will be notified about refund decisions via email.
