Grammarly License Renewal Notice – November 18, 2025
The renewal date for Grammarly licenses is November 18, 2025. All users should have received an email from the Division of IT Software Sales in October containing important renewal instructions and a link to the renewal form. If users did not complete the renewal process in TDX, access will be revoked. To regain access, users must submit a new license request through the TDX ticket system.
Grammarly for Education offers comprehensive AI-powered writing assistance that augments writing and learning, enabling users to become effective communicators. Effective Jan. 9, 2025, the free and premium versions of Grammarly will no longer be available to MU employees and student employees across the four UM System campuses due to privacy and security concerns.

How to Order
Click the button below to be redirected to the service portal. Enter your SSO ID and password, then use the selection buttons on the right for easy navigation. Grammarly for Education may only be purchased using a department MoCode.
The university will utilize Single Sign-on, allowing users to log in with their university credentials (username@umsystem.edu) once a license has been purchased. The software may be installed on up to five devices. For any installation help or other technical support needs, please contact your dedicated IT Professional support team at https://doit.missouri.edu/get-help/. Please be aware that Grammarly licenses are assigned to a user’s SSO ID and are non-transferable. This means licenses cannot be transferred to another user, a new license must be purchased for each unique username (SSO ID).

License Policy
All licenses are based on the stated license period, regardless of the date they were purchased. This means that in order to maintain access, they must be renewed annually. Please ensure you keep track of your renewal dates to avoid any interruptions in service. The license agreement expires upon the termination of the user’s affiliation with the University of Missouri.
