About
Students who need to borrow a laptop for instructional and academic purposes can check one out at no charge in select locations across campus using their TigerCard.
Details
Checkout requires a TigerCard and is available for up to a two-hour period. Select the checkout location listed below for hours, laptop information and availability.

Laptops are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may only be used in the building from which they were checked out. By checking out a laptop, you agree to be bound by the Laptop Checkout Agreement. Return the laptop in the same condition as when you checked it out. Any damage to the laptop is the responsibility of the person to whom the laptop is checked out.

Laptop Computer Checkout Guidelines
- Do not leave a laptop unattended.
- Do not eat, drink or use anything magnetic while using the laptop.
- Monitor battery life and save information frequently in case the battery runs low.
- Delete any personal material before returning the laptop.
- Follow the Computing Sites Policies, UM Acceptable Use Policy and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
