Quantum Computing

The MU Division of IT collaborates with experts across the university to explore the ability of quantum computing to solve problems beyond the capabilities of even the most powerful classical computers.

As part of the Mizzou Quantum Innovation Center, you can gain priority access to IBM’s current production quantum computers. This currently includes several 156-qubit machines with error mitigation.

Getting Started

Our partnership with IBM provides access to exclusive content including courses, tutorials and event replays to prepare you for using the quantum computer.

Faculty members and students interested in learning how quantum computing may benefit their research are encouraged to visit the Quantum Innovation Center website. To gain access and request allocation for projects, please submit the Mizzou QIC Access Request Form. Questions can be directed to muitrss@missouri.edu.

Once your request has been received, you will receive guidance for accessing IBM’s quantum resources.
