New TeamDynamix ticketing portals launching soon

The Division of IT has been working over the past year to modernize our ticketing system as we transition from Cherwell to TeamDynamix (TDX). Our Enterprise Service Management team is partnering with project teams to ensure portals will be up and running for their scheduled launch dates.

Several portals have either gone live or will be going live in the coming months:

Phase 1 applications and their launch dates include:

  • MU Health Care Human Resources – March 2025
  • MU Division of IT – March 24, 2025
  • UMSL IT – Feb. 24, 2025
  • Missouri S&T IT – March 24, 2025
  • MU Office of the University Registrar – March 24, 2025
  • UM System Human Resources – March 24, 2025
  • MU Docs – March 24, 2025
  • Health Care System Information Security – March 24, 2025
  • UMKC IT – launched August 2024
  • Missouri Online – launched November 2024
  • MU Connect – launched December 2024

We’re currently testing these portals and developing trainer-led instructional resources. We’ll share these training opportunities with our project teams once they are available. Our goal is to provide a seamless transition with an improved user experience.

If you are a technician who currently manages tickets in Cherwell, please note that your Cherwell portal will become “read only” 30 days after your TDX portal launches. This means that new tickets cannot be created in Cherwell, and you won’t be able to make changes or follow up on existing tickets. Please resolve any tickets in Cherwell prior to the launch of your TDX portal, otherwise you will need to recreate the ticket in TDX.

As we near the transition from phase 1 to our second and final phase of the project, the following applications will switch to TDX. Anticipated go-live dates for these groups haven’t been set, but we are working with these teams to prepare their portals for launch in 2025:

  • MU College of Arts and Science – Business
  • MU College of Veterinary Medicine Facilities
