Below is a list of tools within each system to help you increase efficiency and productivity:
Microsoft Windows
You can personalize your Windows computer with the built-in accessibility features to support ease with vision, hearing, mobility, and learning. All accessibility features can be found on the Windows Accessibility page. Features include but are not limited to:
- Narrator screen reading app
- Speech-to-Text and Voice Control (Speech Recognition)
- Magnifier screen magnification tool
- Keyboard Shortcuts
- Captions for videos
- Focus Assist (Do not Disturb v.11)
- Office Lens
- myAnalytics
- Make the mouse easier to use
- Use the on-screen keyboard to type
- High Contrast Mode
- Voice Access
Microsoft 365
Personalize your Microsoft 365 with the powerful built-in accessibility features to support Vision, Hearing, Neurodiversity, Learning, and Mobility. All accessibility features can be found on the Microsoft 365 Accessibility page.
Features include but are not limited to:
- Dictate your documents in Word for the web
- Use Immersive Reader in Word
- Use color and contrast for accessibility in Microsoft 365
The Microsoft Disability Helpdesk is available to assist you with accessibility questions about Windows or Office 365.
Apple macOS and iOS
Personalize your mac with built-in accessibility features to support vision, hearing, reading, mobility, and learning. All the latest accessibility features can be found in the MacOS User guide, IOS user guide, and AppleVis.
Features include but are not limited to:
- Text-to-Speech
- VoiceOver screen reader
- Zoom screen magnification
- High Contrast schemes
- Speech-to-Text and Voice Control (Speech Recognition)
Apple’s Disability Support is available to all Apple users.
Android
Personalize your Android device with accessibility suite features to support vision, hearing, reading, mobility, and learning. All accessibility features can be found on the Android Accessibility page.
Features include but are not limited to:
- Live transcribe
- TalkBack screen reader
- Live captions
- Switch access
- Voice Access
- Sound Amplifier

Note: Some Android devices already have the Accessibility Suite downloaded onto the phone or have built-in accessibility features. To check if the Accessibility Suite is downloaded on your phone, you can either search your apps for it or check the Google Play Store. Once the Accessibility Suite is installed on your Android device, you can navigate to Settings > Accessibility > Installed services to see all available features. Any accessibility features you see outside of installed services are accessibility features already built into your device.
Andrioid’s Disability Support is available to all users.
