About the IT Accessibility Center
The IT Accessibility Center is a department within the Division of Information Technology that provides digital accessibility and assistive technology support for the University of Missouri. The Disability Center office and the ADA office work closely with us to ensure students, faculty, and staff have equal access to computing opportunities.
The IT Accessibility Center empowers individuals with disabilities by promoting an inclusive digital environment through accessibility advocacy, education, and technological solutions.
The staff has over 20 years of experience and expertise, with accessibility website and document testing, assistive technology consultation and support, as well as other services such as ergonomic evaluations.

Location, Hours, Parking
The IT Accessibility Center is located on the lower level of the north side of Memorial Union in room N-17. Request assistance into the building by contact the office and a staff person can meet you upon arrival.

Parking:
Metered and handicapped parking is available on the east side of Memorial Union.
Parking is also available southwest of Memorial Union.
Accessible Parking:
Parking is available in two areas near Memorial Union:
- Behind Memorial Union
In this parking lot, there are metered and accessible parking areas.
- Southwest of Memorial Union
North of the MU bookstore is a lot specifically for accessible parking.
If an accessible spot is not available, you may park in one of the metered parking spots with your handicap tag visible. You will not need to pay for metered parking If your hangtag or your license plate has the handicapped symbol visible.
Accessible Entrances
Automatic doors and ramp access are available on the east, north and south sides of the building.
An elevator located on the first floor of the north side, between the stairwell and the food area, which will take you to the lower floor.
