Network Modernization
Since December 2023, the Division of IT has been undertaking a significant multi-year enhancement to our campus infrastructure through the network modernization project. Continuing through early 2027, the project enhances and expands both Wi-Fi and wired internet coverage spanning 150 buildings across campus.
What to Expect:
- Faster Speeds: The upgraded Wi-Fi network will provide faster and more reliable internet speeds, ensuring a smoother online experience for all users.
- Enhanced Coverage: The new infrastructure will extend Wi-Fi coverage to previously underserved areas, ensuring a more comprehensive network throughout each building.
- State-of-the-Art Technology: Our upgraded system will leverage the latest in 6e wireless technology, ensuring compatibility with current and future devices.
