More information...Domain Name Service and IP AddressesDomain names identify Web sites and Internet Protocol (IP) addresses identify the unique address of each device attached. The Division of IT manages the Domain Name Service (DNS) and Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for MU and UM System organizations (not including UM Health Care). Individual faculty and staff must contact their Departmental IT Professional or the Division of IT to set up a new domain.Off-Campus Network AccessThere are different ways to access MU's network from off campus. You can access the Internet, e-mail, Web hosting/file storage and Virtual Private Network (VPN) through TigerLink, Webmail, and VPN. You can connect to Bengal and other servers for Web hosting and file storage using secure programs.
