Nvivo MU Centralized License Terminates July 6, 2025

As we approach the renewal of our NVivo centralized license on July 6, we conducted a review of user data to assess the sustainability of maintaining our current centralized licensing model. Following this review, we’ve determined that it is not economical to continue a centralized licensing model.

Users and departments who wish to continue using NVivo should procure individual licenses tailored to their specific requirements by July 6.

Annual student subscriptions are available for $118, while academic licenses start at $475, both of which can be purchased directly through Lumivero at https://lumivero.com/shop/.  

To facilitate a smooth transition and minimize disruptions to ongoing projects or workflows, we recommend initiating conversations with your department and relevant stakeholders as soon as possible. Software purchases can be processed using a University One Card. Please note that the Software Sales team has secured compliance approval for this year; however, compliance submissions for subsequent years will need to be managed by the requestor.
