We upgraded this service to a new platform – Amazon AppStream 2.0 -  it is faster and easier to use.    

Software Anywhere provides MU students, faculty, and staff access to University software online from any computer connected to the Internet. Software Anywhere is available at no charge, 24 hours a day. Available software includes SPSS, SAS, and more.

Software Anywhere is available at no charge, 24 hours a day to currently enrolled MU students as well as MU faculty and staff. Available software includes SPSS, SAS and more.

Note: While you can save work locally during a session, you must save your files to OneDrive. To learn how to save files to OneDrive, click here

There are no fees associated with this service.

Audiences:

  • MU
    • faculty
    • graduate students
    • staff
    • undergraduate students

Students must be enrolled in at least one course on the MU campus or be an active Mizzou Online student.

MU faculty and staff (all employees of a Columbia business unit) are also eligible to use Software Anywhere.

MU Healthcare employees are not eligible to use Software Anywhere due to current licensing restrictions.

Go to doitservices.missouri.edu and click on the Help icon. Login to the self-service portal with your University user id and password, and Search for Answers accordingly. For additional assistance, contact our Help Desk at 573-882-5000.
