Software Anywhere provides MU students, faculty, and staff access to University software online from any computer connected to the Internet. Software Anywhere is available at no charge, 24 hours a day. Available software includes Adobe Creative Cloud, Mathematica, SAS, and more.

Software Anywhere provides online access to University software from any computer connected to the campus network. Software Anywhere is available at no charge, 24 hours a day to currently enrolled MU students as well as MU faculty and staff. Available software includes Adobe Creative Cloud*, Mathematica, SAS and more.

Please note: while you can save work locally during a session, you must save your files somewhere else (your computer's hard drive, a personal USB drive, your individual cloud storage space, etc.) before logging off Software Anywhere.

Students must be enrolled in at least one course on the MU campus or be an active Mizzou Online student.

MU faculty and staff (all employees of a Columbia business unit) are also eligible to use Software Anywhere.

MU Healthcare employees are not eligible to use Software Anywhere due to current licensing restrictions.

Connect to Software Anywhere either on or off campus using one of the following methods:

  • Option 1 - Install the VMware Horizon Client for Windows or VMware Horizon Client for Mac. Launch the View Client to connect to Software Anywhere and, when prompted for a Connection Server, enter vdi.missouri.edu.
  • Option 2 -  Click on the VMware Horizon HTML Access link without the need for Client installation. If you have checked the box next to "Check here to skip this screen and always use HTML Access", and you want/need to download the client, click on the Download the Horizon Client for Windows (x64) link just below the login box.

 

Go to doitservices.missouri.edu and click on the Help icon. Login to the self-service portal with your University user id and password, and Search for Answers accordingly. For additional assistance, contact our Help Desk at 573-882-5000.
