Show-Me AI
Show-Me AI is Mizzou’s secure, campus-wide generative AI platform for teaching and learning. It gives faculty and students access to multiple premium AI models, including ChatGPT and Claude, through a university-supported environment. Users can generate content, upload files, create custom AI assistants, and use AI for coursework, lesson planning, feedback, and other academic activities. Show-Me AI is hosted within Mizzou’s secure infrastructure and is designed to protect university data from external use or AI training.
Important:
The software on this page has been reviewed and approved for lower-level data use.
Show-Me AI has IT Compliance approval for Data Classification Levels 3 only (See the UM System Data Classification page for more information).
If you are using these tools for business, research or academic use and the data moves into DCL4 Highly Restricted data is used you must enter an IT compliance review ticket for your specific software use and receive approval.

It is the user’s responsibility to protect university resources and data by ensuring that you use software in compliance with relevant university policies and standards, store and process all sensitive data within approved systems, and ensure equitable access to information technology for users with disabilities.
Individuals at MU are ultimately responsible for any infringing software on their computers or devices or for violating the terms and conditions of software licenses. Individuals are responsible for reviewing the Acceptable Use Policy on the UM System website.
