A database management system that combines the relational Access Database Engine with a graphical user interface and software-development tools. It allows users to create and share database apps without being a developer.
Important:
The software on this page has been reviewed and approved for lower-level data use.
Microsoft Access (M 365) has IT Compliance approval for Data Classification Levels 3 only (See the UM System Data Classification page for more information).
If you are using these tools for business, research or academic use and the data moves into DCL4 Highly Restricted data is used you must enter an IT compliance review ticket for your specific software use and receive approval.
