Q: How do I use my mobile student ID on Apple devices?
A: Your mobile student ID features the Express Mode transaction experience. A user is able to approach the card reader with a dark screen on their iPhone or Apple Watch without needing to authenticate via Face ID or Touch ID. Express Mode enables an extremely fast, seamless experience as you move through campus.
When you add your mobile student ID to Apple Wallet, Express Mode is turned on by default. If you don’t want to use Express Mode, you can turn it off. To turn it off, open Wallet, tap your mobile student ID, tap the info button in the top right, and tap the Express Mode on/off button.
Q: How can I view my ID number?
A: To view your ID, open the Wallet app. Navigate to the back of your mobile student ID by clicking the info button in the top right. Scroll down until you see the ID # field. This is your ID number.
