ID Cards

We will be upgrading our ID card software from 10 a.m. to approximately noon Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2025. We will be unable to print IDs during this period.

About

The Mizzou TigerCard is the campus-issued identification card used for ID badges, student IDs and to access many campus services. Students, faculty and staff can pick up their TigerCard in the ID Card Office, located on the lower level of The Mizzou Store located inside the MU Student Center.

ID Office Hours

Regular Semester hours

Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Interim (between Fall and Spring semesters)

Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The office is closed all University holidays, including Administrative Campus Closure Winter Break.

Winter break hours

  • Tuesday, Dec. 24: 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Dec. 25-Wednesday, Jan. 1: Closed
  • Normal hours resume on Thursday, Jan. 2

TigerCard Access

Students use their TigerCard to:

  • Purchase non-academic items/services at all Campus Dining Services locations, the Mizzou Store and Mizzou Recreation with prepaid Tiger Cash funds.
  • Do laundry in residence halls (hall residents only – not applicable for mobile ID credentials).
  • Charge books and other educational expenses at The Mizzou Store.
  • Enter the MizzouRec Complex (if student activity fee is paid).
  • Check out materials from all MU Libraries.
  • Clock into campus jobs (not applicable for mobile ID credentials).

Faculty and staff can use their TigerCard to:

  • Enter the MU Recreation Center (with paid membership).
  • Purchase meals and snacks at 21 Campus Dining locations with Gold Cash (activation required).
  • Receive a 10 percent discount on purchases at The Mizzou Store and Team store.
  • Charge medications at the MU pharmacy (75% FTE or more).
  • Check out materials from all MU Libraries.
  • Clock into campus jobs (not applicable for mobile ID credentials).
Pricing

There is a $25 charge on ALL replacement cards. Payment is made by student charge, payroll deduction, or MoCode.

Availability

ID cards are available for:

  • MU Students, faculty and staff.
  • MU Health Care staff.
Get Started
Students

For students to receive an ID card, one of the following must be true:

  • Your Summer Welcome orientation fee has been processed by University Cashiers.
  • It is within 33 days of the start of the semester for which you are enrolled (with courses appearing in myZou).
  • It is after your Residential Life housing contract start date.
Staff

Staff ID cards are issued on or after the employment start date, once the Personnel Action Form (PAF) has been completed by the hiring department and up to 48 hours after the employee has provided I-9 documents, in person, at MU Human Resources in Jess Hall.

Faculty

Note: Call or email the ID Office before visiting the ID Office. Faculty ID cards are issues up to 30 days prior to employment start date, once the Personnel Action Form (PAF) has been completed by the hiring department and up to 48 hours after the appointment appears in PeopleSoft webapps.

Lost Card

To disable your card, Login with your university credentials to http://tigercardmanager.missouri.edu. Click on Report Lost Card .

  • If you find the card, login again and click Report Found Card.

If you cannot find the card, come to the ID Office for a replacement card.  There is a $25 charge on ALL replacement cards. Payment is made by student charge, payroll deduction, or MoCode.

Download Your Mobile ID

Did you know you can now access some of your favorite places on campus by simply tapping your phone or smartwatch on the card readers around campus? To access your mobile ID, download the GET mobile APP.

You are encouraged to still keep your printed TigerCard on you. Mobile ID options are not available in some areas on campus.
