Online Training

Online Training

Do you want to learn new skills but can't get away for an instructor-led class? DoIT Training offers several online options that can help!

Online Options:

We understand that different people learn in different ways. That's why DoITraining has developed a variety of learning tools to help you hone your skills.

Webinars

Webinars are similar to a regular class session, but content is all online. Watch experts, ask questions, and learn new skills from your own computer. All you need is a good Internet connection and a web browser. Webinars are usually recorded and then added to our online resources.

YouTube Videos

DoIT Training develops YouTube videos as an online supplement, covering many topics not covered in regular classes. All you need is an Internet connection. Videos are available on mobile devices.

Tutorials

Learn at your desk! We have many self-paced tutorials on a variety of courses.

You will need Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader in order for the tutorials to work properly, ALL pop-up blockers must be disabled. For assistance with using the tutorials, click the help link after the tutorial opens. Some tutorials require Adobe's Flash Player.

MyLearn

MyLearn's online learning and performance support is sponsored by the UM Office of Human Resources. This online offering is part of an ongoing commitment to the continuing development of faculty and staff. MyLearn offers training resources in many areas, from highly technical topics to software application instruction, as well as business skills development and legal compliance awareness.

MyLearn is not intended to replace instructor-led training courses. Rather, it will supplement traditional training methods and leverage our existing resources by providing greater opportunity for development of professional and personal skills.

Manuals and Exercises

Our classes have great content, but our schedule might not fit yours. If you need to learn a skill right away or brush up on something you've forgotten, try using the same manuals and exercises that we use in our Classroom Training.

MU faculty, staff, and students, UM System, MU Health Care and University Extension employees, and retirees enrolled in the Retiree Access IT Program can view the manuals live on the web using Adobe Acrobat Reader, printed or saved to your machine. If you would like a copy of a manual that is not listed below, please call 573.882.5000 or email training@missouri.edu.

You will need Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader to view the manuals. You will also need the software used in class if you plan to follow along with the step-by-steps and exercises.
