MU Research Computing News
Welcome to the new University of Missouri Research Computing blog! Here you can catch up on the latest research activities and events at the University of Missouri. We will also provide news, notifications of changes to research-related technologies, and other helpful information.
Each day we are presented with research situations where faculty and students are trying to solve a particular problem and need a tool, approach, or some resources to help them. This blog is meant to help organize some of this information so we can share best practices, and also, to highlight accomplishments of the faculty, academic staff, and students involved in research, scholarly, and creative activities at MU.
If you have an idea of a topic that you would like covered in the blog, feel free to share it with me, Timothy Middelkoop, Director of Research Computing Support Services. I am responsible for leading the evolution of the research computing infrastructure and facilitating the computational needs of research users campus-wide. I also maintain a faculty position as an Assistant Teaching Professor in the department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering. You can contact me at MiddelkoopT@missouri.edu.
