A: The mobile student ID is just like your physical student ID but is now available on your iPhone and Apple Watch.

Q: How do I get the mobile student ID on my Apple devices?

A:

  1.  Ensure that you have an approved photo on file. If you are not sure if you have an approved photo, please contact the ID office at idcardreq@missouri.edu
  2. On your supported device, download the GET Mobile app from the App Store.
  3. Open GET Mobile from your iPhone and choose University of Missouri – Columbia from the dropdown list.

  7. The ID will now be available in your Apple Wallet. You do not need to keep the GET Mobile app for functionality of the mobile student ID.

Q: How do I use my mobile student ID on Apple devices?

A: Your mobile student ID features the Express Mode transaction experience. A user is able to approach the card reader with a dark screen on their iPhone or Apple Watch without needing to authenticate via Face ID or Touch ID. Express Mode enables an extremely fast, seamless experience as you move through campus.

When you add your mobile student ID to Apple Wallet, Express Mode is turned on by default. If you don’t want to use Express Mode, you can turn it off. To turn it off, open Wallet, tap your mobile student ID, tap the info button in the top right, and tap the Express Mode on/off button.

Q: How can I view my ID number?

A: To view your ID, open the Wallet app. Navigate to the back of your mobile student ID by clicking the info button in the top right. Scroll down until you see the ID # field. This is your ID number.

Q: Can I view Zou Platinum, Zou Gold, and Zou Silver balances

A:  There are currently four ways to check the balance of your Zou Dining Plan:

  1. GET Mobile app on iPhone or Android
  2. Tigercard.missouri.edu
  3. idcardmanager.missouri.edu
  4. Monthly balance emails sent from Campus Dining Services
