Computer Labs

Computer Labs

There are more than 40 computer labs across campus with Internet access, MS Office, graphics, and statistical software. These lab spaces are used for general drop-in/open-use for MU students, and scheduled MU classes. Lab computers require logging on with an active UserID and password.

Lab computer platforms include Macintosh, Windows, and Unix (Linux). Capacity in computer labs ranges from 20 to 40 workstations, and locations are distributed throughout the MU campus. In some locations, computer labs are equipped with specialized instructional technology equipment (Instructor workstation with projector and screen). Many labs are staffed with Student Consultants.

A variety of standard and specialty software is available for your use in the computer labs. View a complete listing of which software and hardware are offered in which labs.

The Adaptive Computing Technology (ACT) Center assists people with learning, visual and mobility impairments to access technology. Visit the ACT Center at N18 Memorial Union or call 573.884.2828 for a consultation.

There are no fees associated with this service.
