Training Enrollment Policies

Faculty and Staff

  • Classes for professional development are free if you attend. Classes for personal enrichment are not.
  • Enrollment closes 48 hours before the start of the course.
  • For classes for professional development:
    1. You will enter your departmental MO code, supervisor's email, and fiscal officer's email at time of enrollment.
    2. We send course email reminders 72 hours before the start of class to remind you to cancel 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) in advance if you can't attend.
    3. If you enroll between 48 and 24 hours before the start of the course, you will not get an email reminder.
    4. You must cancel/reschedule at least 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) before the start of the course to avoid a late cancellation fee.
    5. If you don't attend and did not cancel/reschedule at least 48 hours prior to the class, we'll charge a no-show fee on the MO code provided.
    6. The late cancellation/no-show fee ranges from $39 to $71/class, depending on length of class.
    7. If we move you from the wait list to enrolled status within 48 hours of the start of the course, you will not incur a late cancellation/no-show fee if you can't attend.
    8. In the case of an emergency, we'll consider waiving the late cancellation/no-show fee, depending on the circumstances. Email your request with details to training@missouri.edu.
  • For classes for personal enrichment:
    1. IT Training classes (except IT Pro Training classes) range from $39 to $79/class, depending on length of class.
    2. You will enter credit card payment information through a secure third-party application.
    3. We send course email reminders 72 hours before the start of class to remind you to cancel 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) in advance if you can't attend.
    4. You must cancel/reschedule at least 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) before the start of the course to receive a refund.
    5. You will not be able to enroll less than 48 hours before the start of the course.
    6. If you don't attend and did not cancel at least 48 hours prior to the class, no refunds are provided.
    7. In the case of an emergency, we'll consider waiving the late cancellation/no-show fee, depending on the circumstances. Email your request with details to training@missouri.edu.

Students and Retirees

  1. Classes are free if you attend.
