Videoconferencing Services

The Division of IT offers videoconferencing services via facilities located at 001 Life Sciences Center.

  • Holds up to 12 local participants.
  • Supports H.323 communications protocol. Arrangements can be made to support H.320 sites.
  • Speaker phone available.
  • PowerPoint presentations supported in most conferences with prior notification.

Fees

The rate is $20 per hour with a one-hour minimum. Charges are always billed in one-hour blocks. There are no technician charges Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. For after-hours conferences, the technician rate is $75 per hour with a one-hour minimum.

Availability

Videoconferencing is available to all MU departments. Normal conference hours are 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday; however, in most cases, special arrangements can be made for after-hours conferences.
