Online Training Resources
There are additional training resources on the Internet. Some of these links are commercial sites that charge a fee for their services and/or products. If you know of a great training resource and would like to let others know about it by e-mailing us at training@missouri.edu.
Adobe (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash)
- The Adobe Web site has online support and training information for all their products. You can even download Adobe products, such as Acrobat Reader.
Microsoft
- Microsoft offers training at no charge from any computer running Office 2003.
- The official Web site of Microsoft provides a wealth of resources and information.
- Microsoft collaborates with Microsoft Certified Technical Education Centers (Microsoft CTECs) and Microsoft Certified Trainers (MCTs) to help you learn new or augment your current skills.
- The MacTopia Web site provides useful information on Microsoft Mac products.
- Microsoft's Clip Art and Media page helps you spice up papers or presentations with graphics, images, and sounds.
Web Authoring
- w3schools.com offers Web-building tutorials, from basic HTML and XHTML to advanced XML, XSL, Multimedia and WAP.
Mac
- The Apple Web site provides valuable information and support.
- The MacInTouch Web site provides articles about Mac use.
- MacNN is an information page that encourages you to respond or contribute to informative articles.
- The MacSurfer's Headline News Web site is a resource for information and links.
Books
- Adobe Press Books are available only through booksellers.
- bookpool.com offers discount technical books.
- You can order any of the award winning ...for Dummies titles, some of which you can't find in bookstores, directly from the publisher.
- Microsoft Press Books helps you get the most from Microsoft tools, technologies, and programs.
