Mizzou Integrated Messaging Services

Getting Started

  1. Change your telephone passcode, record your mailbox name and greeting for callers:

    1. From your on-campus telephone number: dial 66. The system will prompt you to enter your passcode.

    2. From any off-campus telephone number: dial 884-7575, or (573)884-7575 if calling from a long-distance number. When you hear the system greeting, enter your 10-digit mailbox number. The system will prompt you to enter your passcode.

    3. The system will step you through changing your passcode, recording your name and recording your greeting. Telephone passwords must be 8-10 digits in length. Do not use * or #.

    4. After you have finished setting up your new mailbox, access your mailbox by dialing 66 (or 884-7575 if you're off campus) and when prompted, enter your new passcode.

  2. Change mailbox settings:

    1. From the Web: visit myMessaging to change how your mailbox answers calls. For example, you can alert callers that you're on vacation or away from the office for an extended period. You can prioritize urgent messages to be read to you first. If you have trouble logging in, try using a fully-qualified username, for instance, smithj@missouri.edu or smithj@health.missouri.edu.

    2. From the telephone: visit our MIMS user guide.
