Telecom Repair Service
The Division of IT monitors campus telecommunications and network systems to ensure they are operating normally and responds to system-wide or building-wide problems on a 24x7x365 basis. Campus phone system and data network users are still encouraged to report problems with these systems to the IT Help Desk at (573)882-5000.
End users must report problems with office phones and network ports since campus-wide monitoring systems are not able to identify problems associated with an individual line or port.
|Campus buildings||Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-5 PM|

Covered and Billable Items
All equipment, including wiring, jacks, phones, etc., issued by the Division of IT in order to provide telecommunications and network services, will be repaired free of charge unless one of the following circumstances applies. The Division of IT is extremely lenient in assessing charges for repair calls but may bill, at our current labor rate with a one-hour minimum, for any facilities or equipment that have been abused beyond normal wear, including:
- Wet phones or phones that are blatantly damaged.
- Crushed phone or network jacks.
- Missing phones and other equipment.
- Any wiring installed or damaged by the customer.
- Unnecessary repair calls such as connecting equipment to an inactive or incorrect outlet, including phones or other equipment that aren't plugged in at all, etc.
In addition, charges may apply if service calls are requested to be completed outside of normal business hours except for facilities that support health and public safety operations on campus.
