SANS 519The University of Missouri-Columbia has partnered with MOREnet and SANS to host SANS SEC519: Web Application Security Workshop. This course will be offered in Interactive Video Conferencing (IVC) format. The video is a two-way feed, so students will be able to see the instructor, the slides AND ask questions in real time.

RegistrationThe registration fee is $500, payable directly to SANS through their Web site. Please submit your name, e-mail address, and department/ information to isam@missouri.edu. If you are not an employee of the University of Missouri-Columbia, please indicate what educational institution, state or local government agency, or law enforcement group you are affiliated with. You will then be provided with the educational discount registration code via e-mail. This code will be required to register at the $500 price. The link to the SANS registration form will also be provided in the e-mail.Laptop RequirementStudents attending this course are required to bring their own laptops that are properly configured. Please note that your laptop must be properly installed and configured before you come to class - there is not enough time in class to help you configure your laptop.
Instructor Bio For Johannes UllrichAs Chief Research Officer for the SANS Institute, Johannes is currently responsible for the SANS Internet Storm Center (ISC) and the GIAC Gold program. He founded DShield.org in 2000, which is now the data collection engine behind the ISC. His work with the ISC has been widely recognized, and in 2004, Network World named him one of the 50 most powerful people in the networking industry. Prior to working for SANS, Johannes worked as a lead support engineer for a web development company and as a research physicist.
