IT Security

The Information Security & Access Management (ISAM) team is the Division of IT's unit responsible for providing security expertise and resources necessary to protect the University's information assets and technology resources. ISAM continues to improve security by offering support and education for UM, MU and UMHC departments and MU Students. ISAM is also involved with changing the manner in which the University collects, stores and uses Social Security Numbers (SSN) through an ongoing project led by the SSN Remediation team.
