Division of IT: Policies
Port Activation Policy
The Division of Information Technology is committed to providing the most efficient and standardized delivery of network services via MU's enterprise data network, Mizzou TigerNet.
Authorized signers, in conjunction with their departmental IT professional, may request data ports by contacting the Division of IT and including their name, building, room number and MoCode. Requests submitted by 3:30 p.m. will be activated the next business day. Activation fees will apply.
All physical networking equipment is owned, operated and maintained by Division of IT. Only Division of IT personnel may access wiring closets to activate or move data ports.
