Get Your Laptop MU-Ready

On Day 2 of Summer Welcome, feel free to attend our open lab from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m to set up your laptop. No need to pre-register, just walk in.

During the session, we'll help you install and set up:

MizzouWireless
Symantec Endpoint Protection
Microsoft Office (purchased separately)
Print Anywhere

If you bring your iPod Touch or iPhone, we will set it up with MizzouWireless and e-mail as well.

Available Software

The following anti-virus software is free for all students and available directly from the Division of IT's Software Distribution Site. You'll need a valid PawPrint and password to download software.

Symantec Endpoint Protection (Windows XP)
Symantec Endpoint Protection (Windows Vista)
Norton Anti-Virus (Mac)

Print Anywhere - a software which allows students to print to most computing site printers from personal computers - is available for download on the Print Anywhere page.
