Division of IT: Hosting Services
Database Hosting
The Division of IT provides services to meet customers' database needs. Microsoft SQL (Windows) and Oracle (Linux) databases are available. This service is only available to departments.
Database service includes database administration (DBA), database backups, and server software and hardware. Database services are available except during the standard weekend maintenance window, which is midnight Saturday to noon Sunday.

- You do not have to purchase a server to host data.
- You do not have to perform DBA functions on your own server.

- Vendor support and escalation is included.
Fees
- Storage space: $3.50/10 MB/year (in 10 MB blocks)
- Sessions: $12.50/year; five concurrent session minimum
- Storage space increase: no charge for one increase per year; standard $96/hour development fee for two or more increases per year
Obtaining Service
This service is only available to departments. To obtain database service, please submit a database hosting service request form. You will need a MoCode to obtain service. Contact your Departmental IT Professional or call (573)882-5000 for more information. Use the service change or service cancellation forms to modify or terminate database services.
