ImageNow/WebNow

Imaging is a secure enterprise application that enables the creation of a direct and effortless connection between workers and the documents they need to complete daily activities. Using ImageNow, you can efficiently capture and organize all types of documents, then retrieve documents securely and instantly from anywhere via the web or compatibly configured business applications.

Electronic document imaging provides a number of benefits. Imaged documents:

  • Serve as legally binding documents.
  • Require less floor space than traditional paper file storage: once a document is scanned, reviewed, and indexed, the paper document can be destroyed.
  • Allow for the creation of a standard mechanism for searching documents. This in turn cuts down on the number of misfiled and/or lost documents.
  • Reduce processing time by allowing multiple individuals to access a document simultaneously.

Fees

Departments implementing imaging are assessed an initial buy-in fee to help cover licensed software and ongoing hardware and infrastructure costs. Actual amounts are based on the scope of the department's planned activity and range from $5,000 to $25,000, excluding the cost of the scanner.

A supported scanner configuration can cost approximately $5,000 (depending on the scanning solution chosen) and includes the scanner, the scanner connection board and software, hardware maintenance, and software licensing and maintenance fees.
